Inside Sales / Operations Supervisor
- Domestic Freight

• 
  SUMMARY:This individual will be involved in inside business to business sales. The focus is growing and maintaining new customers, most notably within dry flat and/or refrigerated freight.
  The self-motivated individual who attains this position will undoubtedly be given the opportunity to grow and flourish at the company.
  
  Location:Cerritos, CA
  Pay: $ (Plus Benefits)

  Schedule: HYBRID (3 days in-office, 2 days' work from home)

  KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
• Handle day to day sales/operations for Customers, Approved Motor Carrier s, and Customer Care team members on high revenue or strategic accounts.
  
• Address requests for information, new accounts, rate quotes that come in
  
• Works in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing on RFQ responses and forwarding pricing to our customers.
  
• Auditing of Quick Quotes that come in from web portal and forward those needing action to the correct carrier in the network.
  
• Support of Quick Quote tool and forward to carriers any shipment quote request that does not generate an automated rate quote due to lack of info provided by customers.
  
• Responds to all RFQ project work submitted by customers
  
• Assist operations team by documenting and communicating customer requirements
  
• Work with and balance the workload of two inside sales team associates
  
  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  
• 3 years' of cross-functional, customer care management or similar adjacent areas of support, Freight Forwarding, supply chain, or sales.
  
• Expertise in the transportation and/or logistics, trucking, including documentation and border crossing requirements.
  
• Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
  
• Familiar with the ACI pricing template very helpful.
  
• This is a hybrid position 2-3 days in the office only.
  
• Mon-Fri 7AM to 4PM
