Job Description:
Pay: $20.00/HR -The Parts Shipping & Receiving - employee will
work in a warehouse environment and oversee -all - parts shipping
and receiving. They assist with inventory, and contribute greatly
to department cleanliness, organization, and profitability.The
Parts Shipping & Receiving employee must possess outstanding
organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory is
maximized and technicians have their service order requests
fulfilled. To do this well, a solid understanding of product
knowledge and factory expectations must be learned.Essential
Functions:
Receive - incoming parts orders and
deliveries daily using a hand held scannerPackages parts specific
to manufacture demandsTracks inventory and returns up to 7% of
parts as needed, to ensure no obsolescenceRestocks inventory and
for specialized requests made by customers and from the service
departmentMaintains and audits the inventory supply of all parts
items to maintain accuracy. This is done throughout the year and
formally, inventory is audited once per year with managementAnswers
and assists all made by the internal service department Maintains
organized records of VIN checks and inventory, shipments, invoices,
and special order parts (SOP)Provides assistance to the Parts
Manager as needed -Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalentAt
least two years related automotive experience is preferredRequired:
A valid driver's license and
acceptable driving record.Excellent organizational skills and
attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication
skillsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to
meet deadlinesProfessional demeanor and excellent customer service
