Job Description:
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner
II.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of 150 or fewer workers' compensation files,
including complex claims
Determine compensability of claims and administer benefits
according to state law and company guidelines
Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims
issues and maintain case documentation
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related
field preferred
Three or more years of related experience or equivalent combination
of education and experience
Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical
terminology
Ability to independently manage fairly complex claims
Proficiency in Word and Excel preferred
