Our vision is to be the premier healthcare provider in the region, delivering exceptional patient experiences through innovative, integrated care.Reporting to the Lead Physician, the Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) performs comprehensive medical services for members of families within scope of training. This includes preventative care, immunizations, primary care and treatment, prescribing of medications, ordering and interpreting lab testing and physical examinations. Responsibilities:--Provide routine, acute, urgent, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care to members of families, within the approved skills profile and/or scope of practice.Take detailed histories and perform complete physical examinations.Order or execute various tests, analyses and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnose condition of patient.Make diagnoses (or differential diagnoses if a specific diagnosis is pending) for each patient, educate the patient and parents on the diagnosis, and institute treatment and follow-up care based on current standards of care, official guidelines, and evidence based medicine.Administer or prescribe appropriate pharmacological agents and treatments.Discuss any possible side effects to medication or immunization with patient.Qualifications:---Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Physician Assistant ProgramMaster's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.National Provider Identification Number (NPI).Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems.Current and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant LicenseBoard of Registered Nurses Certification Furnishing Number issued by California Board of Registered NursingCurrent and unrestricted Controlled Substances Registration Certificate from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)Valid California Driver's License, proof of auto liability insurance and clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications:Bilingual in English and Spanish (may be required at some clinics).Experience with Epic EMR.At least two (2) years of clinical practice experience, outpatient, family medicine.--Experience in providing medical care to underserved populations.Current certification with Pediatric Advance Life Saving (PALS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Benefits:--Competitive CompensationCompetitive Time OffLow-cost health, dental, vision & life insuranceCMEIncentive Bonus Plan and Signing BonusThe pay range for this role $140,000 to $220,000 on an annual basis.--TrueCare is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender, age, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
