Job Description:

Growing Fastener Manufacturer/Distributor looking to add an _EXPERIENCED _tool and die maker to our manufacturing team. This is a first shift position. Salary commensurate with experience. Additional monthly performance bonus pay. Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints/drawings/parts to fabricate tooling. Ability to set up and operate lathe, mill, grinders. Fabricate and/or repair precision carbide and steel tooling for the cold heading manufacture of fasteners. Knowledge of the proper use of measuring equipment; micrometers, comparators etc. Ability to work with tight tolerances. Be able to meet necessary quality and productivity requirements with limited supervision. Maintains clean and safe working environment. Requirements/Skills: 3+ years experience.High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to work well with others ; header operators, quality staff and peers. This is a collaborative environment.Strong math and analytical skills.Attention to details.Able to stand for extended periods.Ability to communicate in English (Also Spanish a plus).
