PURPOSE: Attorney's primary purpose is to conduct research, provide advice or opinions and other legal assistance to clients.The role is an ideal fit for someone who has excellent research, analysis and critical thinking skills. Our ideal Corporate/litigation Associate Attorneys are detail-oriented and are excellent at writing. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Researching and analyzing the law on complex issues and writing a brief for submission to a supervising attorney.
• Synthesizing legal research and analysis into a coherent written memorandum or brief for submission to a client, court or arbitrator.
• Appearing in a court of law, arbitration, etc. on behalf of the firm's client and presenting well-reasoned arguments to the judicial body.
• Analyzing and summarizing complicated legal documents, including contracts and suggesting alterations to those documents.
• Negotiating with outside parties on contractual issues and legal disputes including settlement conferences.
• Anticipating and mitigating potential legal problems within the law firm or for a client and developing strategies to avoid costly litigation and reduce potential areas of risk.
• Performing due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreement and mergers and acquisitions.
• Other task assigned from time to time.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 0-2 years' experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Must be graduate from a law school accredited to the American Bar Association.
  • Obtained a Bachelors Degree or graduated from a law school and must obtain admission to the bar or organization of lawyers in the state in which they would like to practice.
