Position : Associate Product Manager Location : San Diego, CA Duration : 8 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 1 st Shift Client : Medical Devices Company Job Category : Marketing Level of Experience : Entry Level Employment Type : Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders or GC EAD or OPT or EAD or CPT Job Description: The BD Alaris™ Infusion System, with its supporting suite of software solutions, is the leading global IV infusion smart pump brand with a major presence in the US and other key international markets. Working under the direction of the Marketing Director, and in collaboration with cross functional team members and regional partners, the Marketing Specialist will support the Alaris platform growth strategy through execution of upstreaming marketing and development activities to drive innovation and expansion, especially on our software solutions. Primary Job Responsibilities: Support upstream product development activities such as identifying and prioritizing user needs and representing Voice of Customer on core teams Support partner engagement activities Support creation and communication of product roadmaps Support go-to-Market planning/execution for key upcoming launches Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of three years marketing, product management or equivalent experience in the medical device sector or comparable field; sales or sales support experience will be considered; upstream marketing experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced verbal, written and presentation/communications skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a matrix environment Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-paced environment of competing priorities Ability to define problems, collect data in ambiguous environments, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and recommendations Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with connected, integrated, clinical software solutions Strong understanding of the medical device development process and phases Understanding of and experience with Quality Management Systems Understanding of the IV infusion pump market, business dynamics, and relevant stakeholders
