Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized occupational therapy services in a school setting to
support students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in Sun
Valley, NV. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a
meaningful impact by helping young learners achieve their
developmental and educational goals through tailored therapeutic
interventions. Responsibilities include: Deliver occupational
therapy services to two students with OT needs as outlined in their
IEPs. Manage compensatory services totaling 450 minutes initially
for one student, adjusting to regular monthly OT sessions. Provide
ongoing occupational therapy, approximately 150 minutes per month,
combining current service requirements. Collaborate with educators
and school staff to develop and modify therapy plans. Document and
report progress in compliance with school policies and IEP goals.
Support students in developing skills necessary for academic
success and daily living activities. Qualifications or desired
experience: Valid state licensure or certification as an
Occupational Therapist specialized in school-based services.
Experience providing occupational therapy in schools or educational
settings. Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and
multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and documentation
skills. Location: Sun Valley, NV. This contract role allows for
focused, meaningful work with students needing OT support in an
