Date: 03-09-2026 End Date: 06-08-2026 Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour
shifts: Day 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and Night 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; every
other weekend required; holidays on a rotating schedule; role may
include charge and resource RN coverage Hours per Week: 36

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert critical care
nursing for high-acuity ICU patients, including neuro and cardiac
cases Assess, monitor, and interpret cardiac rhythms and
hemodynamic data and act promptly Manage ventilators and
respiratory needs in partnership with RT 24/7 Safely administer and
titrate medication drips and pressors, following unit protocols
Serve as charge nurse or resource RN when assigned, coordinating
care and staff assignments Perform bedside and huddle reporting to
ensure seamless handoffs and continuity of care Float to Tele and
ED ICU/Tele holds as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to implement
advanced care plans Qualifications Active RN license (California)
or eligibility to obtain Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care
nursing experience; 3 years preferred Current BLS and ACLS
certifications required; NIHSS required Cerner EMR experience
required CCRN strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret
cardiac monitoring strips independently Comfort with ventilator
management, pressors, sedation, and advanced hemodynamic care
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced
acute care settings Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) BSN not required for
submission per posting, but ongoing education is supported
Knowledge & Skills Critical care and ICU nursing fundamentals
Ventilator management and respiratory support Cardiac monitoring
and rhythm interpretation Medication drips, pressors, and advanced
pharmacologic management Neuro critical care knowledge including
ICP monitoring and TBI care Sepsis and stroke care protocols
Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records Team leadership
