(Locums) Location: Oxnard, California Coverage Dates: ASAP Setting:
Outpatient Clinic Infusion Center Schedule: Mon–Thurs: 7:30 AM –
5:30 PM night call Fri–Sun: Remote 24-hr call coverage Call volume

days off Clinical Scope You will oversee all aspects of
Hematology/Oncology patient care , including: Responsibilities
Diagnosis, staging, and management of hematologic and oncologic
conditions Symptom management and precision-based treatment
planning Oversight of the outpatient Oncology clinic and Infusion
Services Collaborating with ER physicians or hospitalists for any
admissions No inpatient oncology program — all care is
outpatient-driven Infusion Center Services Include Chemotherapy &
Immunotherapy Blood & Platelet transfusions Hormone therapy
Therapeutic phlebotomy Antibiotic therapy Rheumatology injections
No procedure requirements. Support Structure You’ll work with a
warm, highly functioning team: 1 Clinic RN 2 MAs 2 Front office
staff 1 Quality analyst/billing 3 Infusion RNs Long-term NP (M–F,
8–5) who assists with clinic and infusion coverage Patient Volumes
15–21 patients/day (shared between MD & NP) ~75% of visits assigned
to the physician Technology iKnowMed (Clinic) Cerner (Infusion)
Ideal Candidate Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology &
Oncology (preferred) Can also accept candidates boarded in
Hematology OR Oncology Completed Medical Oncology Fellowship Active
CA Medical License DEA, BLS, ACLS required Malpractice history
strongly preferred Able to start credentialing within 3 days of
offer acceptance Local candidates preferred
