(Pediatric ER / Urgent Care) Location: Oceanside, CA Start Date:
December 8, 2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Variable | Days/Mids
(4x7.5-hour shifts, 12:30 PM–8:00 PM or 3:00 PM–10:30 PM) Position
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric
Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a leading children’s
hospital system in Southern California. This role involves working
in a pediatric urgent care setting, providing exceptional care to
infants, children, and adolescents presenting with a wide variety
of acute conditions. Key Responsibilities: Perform triage and
deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients with acute
and urgent needs. Administer medications and immunizations as
appropriate. Assist with minor procedures including wound care,
splinting, suturing, and nebulizer treatments. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and
family-centered care. Educate patients and families on diagnosis,
treatment, and follow-up care. Maintain compliance with all
infection control, PPE, and universal precautions. Requirements
Requirements: Active California RN License (pending license
accepted with confirmed posting ETA) Minimum 1 year of recent
experience in Pediatrics or Emergency Department Experience
performing triage on pediatric patients required Certifications:
BLS (AHA) PALS Charting: Any electronic medical record system
First-time travelers accepted if pediatric and triage experience is
strong
