Nurse – MS/Tele Float Facility: PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital
– Los Angeles, CA Start Date: December 1, 2025 (Hard Start)
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per week Description: PIH Health Good
Samaritan Hospital is seeking an experienced
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float RN to provide high-quality patient
care on a Respiratory/Oncology Med-Surg unit (5 North) with a 1:5
nurse-to-patient ratio. The ideal candidate will possess strong
clinical skills in telemetry, respiratory management, and oncology
nursing, with the flexibility to float to other Med-Surg/Tele units
as needed. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent
Med-Surg/Telemetry experience in the U.S. Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, NIHSS (required) Travel Experience: Not required; first-time
travelers accepted Licensure: Active California RN license
(required at time of submission) Skills Required: Cardiac
monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
Central and peripheral IV line care, PICC management, and blood
product administration Heparin protocols, non-titrated cardiac and
vasoactive drips Respiratory care including tracheostomy
management, CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC, and oxygen therapy Chemotherapy
monitoring and care of chronic ventilator and oncology patients
Charting: EMR (Cerner or facility equivalent) Ratios: 1:5 Float:
Required to Med-Surg and Telemetry units within scope Weekend
Coverage: Every other weekend RTO Policy: No time off during first
two weeks; RTO must be approved at submission Facility Details:
