Role Overview The Business Analyst --- Healthcare Analytics position supports our client by providing technical support to payer and clinical analytic programs. He or she should have hands-on familiarity with data engineering tools. Business Analyst --- Healthcare Analytics primary responsibility for the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of payer and clinical analytics applications. Business Analyst --- Healthcare Analytics is responsible for: serving as an expert in data analysis, reporting, and providing guidance to other data analysts collaborate with business and IT development and QA teams to facilitate and support the development of detailed scope statements and high-level business requirements in development efforts. understand existing ETL and analytical processes and document them working in an agile environment Qualifications: 5 years of experience in healthcare payer clinical practices 5 years of business analyst experience in an analytics environment Business Analyst Experience in an IT Environment. Hands-on experience working with ETL Ability to query databases using SQL Working knowledge of Agile and different ceremonies like PI planning, system demo, sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standup, etc. Working knowledge of Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc. Experienced working with onshore/offshore developers and QA teams Tools like JIRA, confluence, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills Essential Qualities The essential qualities necessary of the Clinical Systems Analyst include, but are not limited to: Exceptional analytical skills Ability to communicate technical issues and concepts to non-technical individuals Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships with management, physicians, staff, and vendors Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing systems analyst tasks Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare, or related field and/or equivalent experience required
