Job Title: Key Account Manager Type: Full-Time Job Description We are seeking a passionate Key Account Manager to join our sales team. This individual will be responsible for growing existing key accounts(retail chain) and also to develop new accounts to maximize sales of our products.This is a mid level position with opportunity for growth. The key account manager will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager/Director to report and also to receive guidance/direction. Majority will be inside sales work, but may require seldom outside sales and travel. Ideal candidate is 3 5 years experience in managing accounts(including key accounts).The successful candidate will be expected to manage and develop regional/national accounts in the natural, grocery & mass channel. This person will be expected to directly communicate to retail buyers and/or their broker partners from promotional planning, scheduling orders/deliveries, to new product launches etc. He/She is also expected to become proficient in the knowledge of Korean Red Ginseng products and be able to convey that knowledge to our trade partners. Responsibilities Present and promote company products to new and existing customers (Wholesale/Retail channel etc.) Develop, evaluate and execute market strategies in coordination with Manager/Director based on knowledge of market characteristics, competition, budgeting factors Analyze sales data and identify short and long-term growth opportunities in terms of promotions, product and marketing Prepare sales presentations and negotiate contract pricing, terms, deliveries and sales support Monitor market conditions, and competitors' products, price and sales activities Monitor sales and promotional activities of customers and evaluate effectiveness of spend in coordination with Marketing Team Educate trade partners to better communicate our products to final customers Work with marketing, accounting, logistic teams to align sales & marketing, inventory, budgeting Quarterly and yearly planning and review Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Characteristics 3 8 years of Sales Account Management Experience preferred (with experience with Key Account Management) Enthusiastic, detailed oriented & self motivated Consumer focused mind-set with good communication skills Ability to manage multiple accounts, multi-task and prioritize effectively Fluent in English. Good verbal and written skills.
