National Accounts works with independent discretion and is
responsible for long and short-term strategies to deliver the most
value and assure revenue goals are achieved within the assigned
national and key clients, including Fortune 100, high profile and
strategically positioned accounts. In a forward-thinking and
consultative manner, the Sr. Account Manager assumes overall
responsibility for the day-to-day service requirements as well as
the the renewal and upsell opportunity throughout its lifecycle,
with an eye on balancing the needs of the customer with that of the
organization. The Sr. Account Manager leans on their interpersonal
skills to develop partnerships, including at senior levels, with
customers and brokers that result in better outcomes for all
stakeholders.How you will make an impact:Maintains and grows
revenue base through upsells, account retention and specifically
improving financial gains at renewalStrategically and proactively
manages portfolio of high-value and complex accounts to drive the
right solutions, balancing the needs of the client and with that of
the businessDesigns sophisticated renewal strategies and rate
recommendations based on financial analysis with an eye on crafting
solutions that are win-win-winManages pipeline with a 3-5-year
outlook and drive opportunities for revenue growthApplies
analytical skills and independently lead deal tactics, based on
comprehensive market knowledge, in collaboration with
cross-functional peersCreates effective presentations and conduct
impactful business reviews that ensure existing customers
understand the value our productsActs as the primary point of
contact, liaise between the customer and internal teams to ensure
exceptional customer experienceThrough effective collaboration,
coordinates the account service and successfully develop
high-quality partnerships with external stakeholders, especially at
senior levelsResolves customer concerns timely and brings creative
solutions to bear, including identifying opportunities to
expand/enhance services/processes to benefit all stakeholdersServes
as a mentor and/or peer coach including leading cross-functional
teams on select workstreamsEvaluates project plan, coordinates
project activity, and identifies change initiatives required for
successful project executionDetermines project delivery schedule,
maintains and adjusts schedule as needed during the project
delivery lifecycleShares status updates to leaders by implementing,
gathering, and reporting on team and project based metricsPerforms
other duties as requested or assignedWhat we look for:4+ years of
account management experience, most recently focused in large
group/National accounts (3k+ employee groups)Ability to travel up
to 40% including some overnight (if not currently residing in
Northern California)Residence in Northern California preferredUse
of personal car and ability to sustain expenses until
reimbursedBachelor's degree preferred; additional years of sales
experience will be considered in lieu of degreeSophisticated
business math and complex analytical skills with the ability to
position financial outcomes that contribute to revenue goals across
assigned portfolioExcellent consultative selling and negotiation
skills with the ability to influence decision makers associated
with high-value, complex customersStrong time management skills and
experience with simultaneously managing overlapping projects under
