Job Description Job Description Electrical Estimator Job Title: Electrical Estimator Location: S arasota, Venice FL area (Hybrid - Remote) Salary: $90k-$130k DOE Requirements: 5 Proven experience in Electrical Estimating for Commercial Electrical Construction, Software proficiency in Accubid preferred, Electrical Certification, training Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards. The position involves collaborating with project managers and engineers to provide financial insights that support successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects based on project plans and specifications. Review and interpret electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance during the estimating process. Utilize Accubid and other estimating software to generate accurate bid proposals. Conduct quantity takeoffs and analyze project requirements to determine material and labor costs. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to provide cost analysis and support during the bidding process. Prepare bid packages and assist in bid preparation to ensure competitive and accurate pricing. Review project blueprints and specifications for accuracy and completeness. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, electrical systems, and estimating best practices. Qualifications 5 years proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role in the electrical industry. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including NEC compliance. Proficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam,or other estimating software tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with cost analysis and project management principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and mathematical skills. Experience in commercial estimating and electrical estimating preferred.
