/ Fleet & Maintenance Director Position Summary Ecology Auto Parts
Inc., a leading transportation services company based in Cerritos,
CA, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lubrication Technician
to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in
ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation
fleet while upholding our commitment to environmental
sustainability. The Lubrication Technician will be responsible for
performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and
maintaining accurate records to optimize vehicle performance and
comply with environmental regulations. Responsibilities · To
perform this job successfully you must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
· Perform routine lubrication services on our transportation fleet,
including oil changes, greasing fittings, and fluid top-ups. ·
Conduct regular inspections of truck components to identify
potential issues and perform lubrication maintenance in accordance
with environmental regulations. · Maintain accurate records of
lubrication services performed, including lubricant type and
quantity, inspection findings, and any additional maintenance or
repairs required. · Monitor and manage lubricant inventory,
ensuring an adequate supply of environmentally friendly lubricants
at all times. · Adhere to safety standards, environmental
regulations, and proper handling and disposal procedures for
hazardous materials. · Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting
lubrication-related issues, collaborating with other technicians or
mechanics as needed. · Clean and maintain lubrication equipment,
ensuring proper functioning and identifying any repair or
replacement needs. · Coordinate with team members and supervisors
to ensure effective communication and teamwork in performing
maintenance and repairs while upholding our commitment to
environmental responsibility. Compensation and Benefits This
position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $19 to $23
per hour, commensurate with experience. In addition to the

Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills · High school diploma or
equivalent. · Previous experience as a lubrication technician in
the trucking industry or a related field is preferred. · Proficient
in lubrication techniques, including oil changes, greasing
fittings, and fluid top-ups. · Strong knowledge of truck
components, systems, and maintenance requirements specific to the
transportation industry. · Attention to detail and ability to
maintain accurate records in compliance with environmental
regulations. · Basic understanding of truck mechanics and the
ability to troubleshoot lubrication-related problems. · Commitment
to safety procedures, environmental regulations, and promoting
sustainable practices. · Excellent organizational and time
management skills. · Effective communication skills to collaborate
with team members and report findings accurately. Physical
Demands/Environmental Factors · Ability to perform physical
requirements of the position with or without reasonable
accommodations. · Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen,
physical, and background check, which will include previous
employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record
review. · Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity
(such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
· Required to exert physical effort in handling heavy objects most
of the workday. · Required to be exposed to a physical environment
that involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar
elements often. · Works under moderate supervision. · Requires
lifting up to 50-75 pounds, pushing, pulling, and bending. ·
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. · A valid California
Driver's License is required. · Must be 21 years of age or older. ·
A GED or high school diploma is required.
