PDS Defense, Incis seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 in Redondo Beach, CA.**US Citizenship is required.**Seeking a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer or a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our South Bay Vehicle Engineering organizationThis role will be located in either Redondo Beach or El Segundo, California.Responsibilities:

• Provide technical oversight and technical support to other disciplines as required.
• Responsible for cost and schedule associated with SOW.
• Lead internal program, customer, and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.
• Interface with relevant stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers, to ensure the production of robust and maintainable configurations.
• Consults on design and integration of composite materials and their applications.
• Leverages advanced knowledge of aircraft structure concepts including best practices for material selection of materials and metallic/composites trade analyses.
• Perform design-related tasks utilizing the NX, Fibersim, and Teamcenter tool suites.
