OEC Group in Cerritos is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for developing database integration with our business management systems and our business intelligence tools. The Sr. Data Engineer will also be responsible for generating reports to support company decisions. Required Qualifications: + 2+ years of experience in evaluation and implementation of business centric solutions+ 3+ years of experience in BI solution design and implementation (Power BI, Crystal reports, or SSRS)+ 3-5 years of experience with implementation and maintenance of ETL design (SSIS)+ 3-5 years of experience in database development with a deep knowledge of SQL script tuning, stored procedure, and function scripting+ 3-5 years of project management experience+ 2+ years of experience as a system administrator (windows server oriented)+ At minimum, Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Statistics or related field + Effective communicator with an ability to meet deadlines + Strong negotiation/persuasive skills+ Experience with development using .NET C# and HTML is a plus.+ MCSA: Database Development certified or equivalent is a plus Responsibilities:+ Analyze, evaluate, design and propose suitable architecture and solutions based on business requirements.+ System and database performance tuning and troubleshooting.+ Identifies and recommends improvements in system and data flow designs and/or report design that provide value to business growth+ Design and create reports based on confirmed business and system requirements.+ Design and create system integration functions based on confirmed business and system requirements+ Application level administrative design and implementation based on business and IT perspectives.+ Operate and maintain operational reports, KPI reports and dashboards.+ Collaborate with internal business users and team members in both US and Asia as well as out-sourced vendors/consultants to complete projects or solve issues.
