Job Description:
This challenging and fast paced position will require a
personable candidate with experience in designing interiors of
educational, healthcare, or large-scale corporate facilities with a
focus on K-12 Educational Projects. You will be a part of a
collaborative team which includes project designers, production
architects, and a team of engineers. An ideal candidate should have
extremely strong inter-personal skills, strong technical skills, be
an effective presenter of ideas and concepts, possess knowledge of
interior finishes, and to help us lead in educational design. You
will be a part of a collaborative team which includes project

Impact: Create design concepts and continue the development through
all design phases. Responsible for interior finish materials
selections, specification, and production of finish material
boards. Utilize space planning, knowledge of codes, understanding
of mechanical systems, etc. Produce construction documentation,
construction administration, and review of submittals. Provide
mentorship and guidance for younger designers Here’s What You’ll
Need: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial
interiors Must have at least a Bachelor of Interior Design or
Interior Architecture NCIDQ or CID Interior Designer preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment
(FF&E) process. IIDA membership, LEED, WELL, or Fitwel
Certifications a plus K12, Higher Education, and Civic design
experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, must
be able to present design concepts to clients Proficient in Revit,
Sketchup, Enscape, full Adobe Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Office 365.
Knowledge of Lumion, D5, Rhino, and grasshopper a plus. Experience
with interior finish material selection, specification, and
production of finish material boards Space planning, knowledge of
codes, understanding of building systems, etc. Construction
documentation production, construction administration, review of
submittals Strong devotion to customer service. Ability to work
well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and
adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines. Strong
knowledge of lighting design and consultant coordination preferred.
The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary
depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education,
experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and
internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired
into this role will be at or near the top half of the range
provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each
individual case. The compensation package may also include
incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in
addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and
other benefits. The salary range for this position is below.
