This Staff Accountant position is for candidates who can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. Other responsibilities include internal reporting during the monthly close, participation in compliance, interaction with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP- Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives- Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting- Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision- Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions- Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers- Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting- Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payments- Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations- Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable- Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks- Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll- Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entriesFor confidential consideration, please apply directly with your resume or call Brittany at .
